FAQs

What should I wear?

Clients remain fully clothed (minus shoes) for the duration of an Amatsu treatment. Arms and legs will be moved during the treatment, therefore loose leggings/tracksuit bottoms and a comfortable top are the ideal attire. Clients should not wear jeans, skirts, tights or shorts for reasons of comfort and efficacy of treatment.

Fees & payment

Each session is priced at €70 and lasts one hour.
Sessions for infants and young children may be shorter in duration and will therefore be charged at a reduced rate.
*If the client cancels the appointment less than 72 hours in advance, a cancellation fee will apply.

Cancellations/amendments to appointments

Amendments to existing appointments and cancellations must be requested 72 hours before the appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
Amendments or cancellations requested less than 72 hours in advance will be charged a €20 cancellation fee.

How long does a treatment last?

New clients will be required to complete a consent form at the beginning of their first session. Sessions will generally last between 45-60 minutes with shorter sessions on infants and young children. A parent/guardian must be present for all treatments of children under 18.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends entirely on each client, the issue in question and its cause. Generally, the longer an issue has been present in the body, the more treatments that will be required. Even if a number of sessions are required, the client should feel some improvement after the first couple of visits.

Contraindications

Clients with a virus or fever should not make an appointment until symptoms have run their course. There are certain other health conditions which require prior consent from the client’s GP before receiving an Amatsu treatment. Please be sure to mention any health conditions when making an appointment.
